The Helen S. Smith Male Chorus is
the male choir of the Butler Street C.M.E. Church.
The Chorus renders music on the Second Sunday of
each month singing praises to Our Lord and Savior in
their unique and spirited way. The Chorus is named
in honor of its faithful and longtime
director/musician, Mrs. Helen Starr Smith. If you
are interested in becoming a member of the Helen S.
Smith Male Chorus you are indeed welcome. Open to
men age 18 and up.
The Butler
Street C.M.E. Church Drama Guild was established in
1999, as an outreach ministry to the Voices of
Butler Street by Bro. Clifford E. Littleton and Sis.
Wanda L. Crenshaw. The Drama Guild exists for the
spiritual and educational purpose of promoting and
strengthening the furtherance of the Kingdom of God
through dramatic productions. Through theatrical
productions such as plays, pantomimes, dance,
puppetry, poetry and song, the members of the Drama
Guild lend their talents and expertise to explore
and understand their Christian journey.
In
addition to members of The Voices of Butler Street,
the membership is made up of any member of the
congregation and/or community who wishes to
participate in select productions. |
